As you probably know, life takes unexpected turns! I was a Speech Language Pathologist and happy in my career until I contracted the flu in 2011. Being ill has a way of bringing up what's most important to us, which for me, was my health, but also time spent with family. While sick, I started planning a family vacation to St. Lucia including personalized aspects for each of us. My son loved adventure so I planned a zip lining experience, my daughter loved being pampered so I planned a trip to the sulfur springs, and my husband and I wanted to indulge in some rest and relaxation so we booked a 2 bedroom suite with all the comforts of home. The vacation was spectacular and it made me realize that I could take the skills that made me a good therapist and apply them as a travel professional. So in 2012, I founded Sunlit Travel.

It didn't take long to realize that talking about vacations made people happy - and was equally as rewarding for me! As someone who is often referred to as an 'enabler', there is nothing I love more than using my skills to make others dreams a reality.

I bring an empathetic nature, eye for detail, and good listening skills to everything I do. I am a bit of a nervous nelly, which works in my clients favor, because I am always thinking ahead to anticipate potential hiccups and making sure things run smoothly. My goal is to take the stress out of travel planning and make sure my clients have an amazing experience.
