If you are planning a Honeymoon in Hawaii, particularly on Maui, you are in for a treat! There have been some amazing renovations taking place! Here are 3 of our top picks that you should remember! The Ritz Carlton, Kapalua on Maui has undergone extensive renovations that recently were completed. The Ritz has always offered fabulous dining choices, from meals with tableside presentations to Poolside Dining in a Private Cabana. The renovation introduces the new Kai Café, located in the lobby, featuring homemade pastries, salads and wraps made with local, organic and seasonal ingredients. Guest rooms have been upgraded and now include floor to ceiling windows to blur the lines between indoor and outdoor living. The color schemes mirror the natural environment of Hawaii with blues inspired by the ocean and greens mimicking the lush landscape. New Cabana Suites bring a new level of romance to the expansive pool area. Butler service, flat screen TV's and a private refrigerator provide honeymoon couples with necessities and comforts beyond their dreams! The Sheraton Maui Resort and Spa is a favorite among honeymooners and with its $26.5 million dollar renovation, it's sure to stay at the top of the list! Guest rooms will be modernized to have a luxurious yet still traditional feel. Each of the buildings will reflect the traditions of the three islands in Maui County. The Anuenue and Nalu buildings will be inspired by Maui with warm red tones. The Lahaina and Ohana buildings will incorporate orange and blue from Lanai. The Moana and Hoku buildings, in green and blue, will reflect the cool landscape of Molokai. Renovations are expected to be complete around summer 2018. The Wailea Beach Resort - Marriott finished renovations Dec 2016 but is certainly worth mentioning here. There is an adults only area for those honeymooners who prefer a vacation without kids around. Experience pure serenity from your private over water cabana! If you do decide to honeymoon with the kids in tow - this is the place to be! Wailea Beach offers the longest water slide in Hawaii along with additional slides, a splash zone, a game room and movie theater to keep kids busy throughout your stay. There are 7 dining experiences, 4 of which have ocean views. If you are a foodie, you may know that Chef Roy Yamaguchi has opened a Humble Market Kitchin at this resort, featuring a Hawaiian inspired menu.
