 I was at a bridal show this weekend, hosted by Everything Bridal held at Reid Castle...
WOW. Reid Castle is located on the campus of Manhattanville College in Purchase, NY. It is easily accessible from the highway and not too far from Rockland County, where I live. As I drove up, I could see the castle up on a hill and it looked just like a fairytale. There were limousines out front that added to the majestic charm. The first floor has several rooms, each with unique detailing and amazing architecture. The ceilings are truly magnificent. Unfortunately, I was unable to enjoy the terraces due to unseasonable weather (snow!) for April but they are large and boast amazing views. The venue caters only one party at a time which allows the wedding couple to have all the attention of the day. The catering is done by Elena Sassone of Chartwells catering. The the food served during the show was in abundance and was delicious! As a vendor at a bridal show, I don't always have the opportunity to taste the food, but since there was so much of it, I was happy that after the show, there was plenty left over for me to try a few things. I had turkey, pasta, cheese and crackers, and everything was delicious! Elena Sassone of Chartwells does a fabulous job with presentation and taste, and the staff was so friendly! There was something for everyone to eat (with all my allergies, there are many foods I don't eat and I was able to find several selections to choose from). I met some amazing engaged couples who were planning their weddings at Reid Castle. I feel in love with it instantly and highly recommend it for anyone looking for a fairytale wedding in Westchester.
