We all know how easy it is to plan a vacation on the internet. With just a few clicks of the mouse, you can be on your way just about anywhere. But how do you know it's going to be a GREAT experience? I ensure my clients are well cared for because I know what they like and what they need. I ask questions and meet with my clients to get to know them. The internet certainly will not ask about needs, wants or preferences. Here are a few examples: Jason was afraid to fly, but wanted to visit Hawaii as a present to his wife. We worked together on steps to overcome the fear and secured a row/seat that he found comfortable. Here's what he had to say, "Everything , from start to finish, was really great. We have no complaints at all. The hotels were all amazing, the travel accommodations were very easy, and everything flowed very seamlessly from the time we left NY until we returned home. Between the excursions, car rentals, food recommendations and general information, you were a huge help to us and helped make this seemingly daunting task very easy in the end." Eric took his sons on a ski trip. Despite all the details and plans, sometimes, things can go wrong. When he found himself in accommodations without any heat, he tried to get it resolved on his own. Finally he thought to call me and I sent him out to go skiing while I handled the repairs from my end. Instead of standing at the front desk for hours and losing a day of skiing, Eric and his kids headed out to the mountain to enjoy a day of skiing and returned to comfortable, WARM, accomodations! A rental car was reserved and pre-paid. When Taylor got to the counter, they told her she needed to pay for the rental. In order to get on with the vacation, she went ahead and paid again for the rental car. Turns out, she was at the wrong counter! The pre-paid car was rented through Budget and she went to the Enterprise counter! Lucky for her, I was able to negotiate a refund from Budget on her behalf. When Max told me he had diabetes, I secured a refrigerator in his room along with a sharps container for his needles. He didn't have to worry about a thing, it was all taken care of for him. Bonnie informed me that she had food allergies before a trip to Italy. Along with her printed documents, I included a laminated card with her exact food allergies listed in both English and the Italian translation. After the trip, she was so grateful that she was able to hand over the card to be viewed by the chef and enjoy her meal worry-free. Don't leave your vacation to chance, be sure you know who is supporting you!
